Racing team announced today that they have been granted special permission from
the holder of the Burma Shave registered trademark, to use the name and
roadside jingles of the once famous shaving products line, for use in their new
online store, NostalgiaRaceWear.com.
With a slant on the early
days of drag racing, the store is dedicated to the life and times in the “Good
Ole Days” of the ‘50’s and ‘60’s. The store specializes in cleverly designed
retro sportswear with print and photos of “Lost” and “Missing” drag strips of
the era, including the humorous Burma
Shave jingles that dotted the roadsides of Route 66 and other major U.S.
highways of the time.
