Summer has been well, not hot. Normally we have 90's & 100's this time of year but it's been windier than usual and sometimes, down right cool! The Mid State Fair was great again but it too was very mild and some evenings were again, down right cool. The recent Olive Festival was bigger than ever.
Well, we've ended the debate on how and whats of our water situation. Now comes the lawsuits. The local politicians tried to do it their way - the folks fought back - now it's in the courts hands. Although we received above normal rainfall this season, drought conditions from the past couple years keep us in conservation mode. The mobile field regulators (water police) are back, looking for violators - STILL not good. Our local Lake Nacimiento (the largest on the Central Coast) capacity is still almost half full.
This Labor Day weekend will have the car show (yes, it's back).
Feels like Fall already with the mild temps (although we're suppose to have a mini heat wave right now). Guess that means football seasons here. :-)
